JIANGSU AIRSHIP GEAR CORP.(JAGC),
established in 1958, is the first enterprise using precision
forging technology in straight bevel gear manufacture
with net formed tooth in China. It is High-Tech enterprise
of the state. JAGC occupies an area of 130,000 square
meters, with 70,000 square meters of construction area
for manufacture and office, with fixed assets of 220 million
yuan (about 26 Million U.S. Dollars). JAGC has a staff
of 1100 employees, 258 of which are engineers and technical
staff. JAGC is main products are precision forged straight
bevel gears,machined spiral bevel gears and cylindrical
gears. JAGC supplies 8 series (100 varieties – over 15
million pieces) of straight bevel gear products each year
for over 500 OEMs in many different areas. These comprise
over 60％ of the Chinese production market including automobile,
tractor, tricycle and engineering machinery etc. JAGC
also produces over 300 thousand sets of spiral bevel gears
(using GLEASON CNC machimes) and over 100 thousand sets
of double-axles cylindrical gears(grinding tooth) each
year for the automobile industry.
Since
1979 JAGC has become an expert in the process of using
precision forging technology in straight bevel gear manufacturing
including die manufacturing, hot forging, cold forging,
heat treat-ment and tooth form detecting. JAGC established
QS9000 certification in 2000, JAGC established i Precision
Metalforming R & D Center of Jiandsu Province?in 2001.
At present, JAGC has the highest level of quality, the
largest production, and the most variety of precision
forged gear products in China. JAGC was named as ìThe
number one precision forged gear factory in China? by
Con-federation of Chinese Metalforming Industry.
In
recent years, JAGC has accelerated the pace of developing
new products, and increased the quality of products. By
importing world class equipment for cold precision extruding
gear manu-facturing and die manufacturing, JAGC has accumulated
a wealth of experience in development and manufacture.
JAGC produced high quality gears for domestic cars, which
replaced imported gears. Now, JAGìs products have been
exported to many different countries,including Italy,
America, Japan and Brazil etc.
